about the designer:
Cristian Loddo is an Italian industrial designer based in Milan. He graduated from Politecnico di Milano in 2008, before starting work at the Sowden Design Studio in 2010 where he researches, develops and designs diverse products. In 2014, Cristian established his own studio, where he combines product development with consultancy, paying particular attention to materials and functionality. He has held several international exhibitions and enjoyed collaborations with many different types of organisations all over the world. For HAY, Cristian Loddo has designed the Bacheca Shelf.
